Hey folks,
I have a huge mess on my hands. Is there anyone local to South Metro Denver that can help me get back on track with the 5.0 swap? The electrical is the main thing that is kicking my @ss. I am just overwhelmed. Help. Thanks.

I know there are a bunch of guys in the area but I am kind of out of the loop. I guess I just need to know which wires by color go where. I have most of the schematics down but I am so busy at work I can't find the hours it takes to figure it all out. I suppose a cheet sheet would be good. Any notes on your install? :D

Edit... just realized that the following was deleted somehow as I submitted:

I was looking for a list of wires to cut out and which components I can get rid of, like TAB/TAD etc. I have deleted the smog, AC pumps, but will be adding things like fog lights, electric fan, newer washer bottle with a pump (plan to add a push button switch to activate). Any imput would be helpful. BTW, I do have the various wiring diagrams and install manuals that have been posted or linked by guys on this sight and others.

My problem, is that each one has a different twist or variation that could cause havoc if not done correctly. I have waited too long in between each modification and now I am just confused. At least all the labels are in place on all wires, thank god. Any input would be helpful.
Thanks guys

Ok, spent the better part of last night on the harness and the diagrams and a better grasp I have. (sorry also just saw Star Wars) Anyway, I need a few pointers on the TAB/TAD Solenoids and any computer errors eliminating the smog system will toss out.. How do I avoid/correct the problem?

Thanks

Replace the connector for each of the removed solenoids (TAB/TAD/EVAP, except EGR on manifold) with a 75 Ohm 2 Watt resistor, seems to work fine in my harness. It's what fordfuelinjection site sell, but you probably can order them from the nearest radio shack. They do need to be 2W though, especially if you are going to wrap them into the harness, you don't want any heat generators under your harness wrap.
