I've been meaning to swap the interior lights to LED's as well and give that a shot. Might be a cleaner whiter light..but i hope it's just as bright

I did the same LED swap, reverse and plate lights back when Mustang5L5 first was doing it. I'm REALLY glad I did the switch, looks WAY better!

Well I got the ultimate thumbs up on the LEDs tonight. I met my wife after she finished work and she followed me home. Without me mentioning a thing she hops out of the car and says - "the new lights look really cool", "much better than yellow" etc. etc.

Yesterday he though i was an idiot when i switching them!

I think i copied Ambo or someone else. Not really sure.

I need to order a new pair to replace one burned out plate bulb, so i might grab a few interior light LED's as well. Maybe i'll buy a pair of 3157's and see how they work in the taillights

Wow just stumbled across this thread since I had to buy new LEDs as one of the housings got full of water and I couldn't remember the LED bulb size. Glad to see people are still doing this!

And yes, to my knowledge I was the first to at least bring this to the boards. I got a lot of "rice" thrown at me, but I think more people like it and have done it that have called out rice.
