OK I'm waffling... - Waffling averted, thanks for the help!
I have a K&N FIPK showing up at a local parts store likely tomorrow, my Stang shows up mid week and I plan on getting some Flows in for it too. I was all set to go with the K&N and just live with it but I in my infinite wisdom have done nothing but read for the last 2 days various Mustang forums and I may be waffling towards my direction in CAI.
So I have a few questions.
1 - With the JLTII and C&L CAI kits. How easy/quick is it to swap back to the stock intake setup? I am of the mind that the dealership I am dealing with won't give me a hassle given how they push mods but just in case.
2 - HP wise the JLT and C&L are really really close, so for me it comes down to looks and price. I like the C&L package for OEM appearance, but the JLT can be ordered with the painted tube which is cool.
3 - Tuners that come with are different, so which is the better unit? Can both be plugged into my PC to download new tunes from vendors and which tends to be the most useful?
4 - What is the cheapest price for both units? Thus far I've found...
JLT directly - $555 for black painted intake tube and tuner. Just waiting to find out shipping to Canada.
RPMOutlet - $599 for Street C&L with tuner. Shipping is $38US and as a plus they use USPS (less duty and hassle for me).
Help! I'll have to return the K&N tomorrow but it shouldn't be an issue, it'll be unopened.
