Ok, What The Heck Did I Do?

Now I'm not a great mechanic, but I thought I could do the rather simple stuff....guess again!

Ok, last night while testing my new gears my car kept dieing like it had a dead battery, we finnely figured out it was my silinoid on the fender was loose. I tighted it all up and it ran fine for the night and I got it home no problems. I nocticed it was all rather dirty so I decided to go out this morning and take it all apart and use a wire brush on the metal to make better connections. I took it all apart and cleaned it, put it back togather and now my car dose nothing when I turn the key. Heres some pictures, can someone see anything wrong? Cause Im lost. Im gonna go out and blow this car up!

It taken apart: All the round thngs came off the neg side of the silinoid ( I thought)

What could the problem be?

See that silver box inline with the wire? Jump over it with some alligator clips and try again. I was having this problem too until I bypassed it. Some kind of circuit breaker.

If this fails, _carefully_ take the small boot connector from the top and jump it so it goes hot. Then you will know if your relay is working. If it turns over, the problem is behind the relay.

Oh wait a sec...

Trace the wire coming from the battery. It goes on the same side as all that other crap. The only thing by itself is the big battery cable size wire that goes down the side and around the front of the engine. That's the starter wire. I think you flipped the two. The red wire is by itself and I see the big thick black wire over with the rest of the pack.

I had the same prob once? I mixed up the wires and I had a buddy that had the same car and we checked his out and Bam! Away she went. I also noticed on your pic that the coil wire wasn't in place?? GOOD LUCK
