Ok which do I need?

Im thinking of ordering some Flowmaster Super 44's to do weld ins with,but after looking on the web I have no idea wich ones I need,2.25,2.5,3.0,also dont know what offset I need either,Im kind of an idiot on exhaust.And the exhaust is completly stock right now.

You done upgraded from a gt to a mach1 and dont know wtf you're doing, lol. It's 2.25 inch inlet and outlet and should be offset/offset...just like your stock exhaust. Same as a Gt's.

on my gt i just did a catback,so I really didnt pay much attention then....5yrs ago.

Because the flows will be about $200 vs. $500, and a shop here owes me a favor...so its not costing me anything for the install.

Just get some mufflers welded in and whatever tips you want. You not gonna gain any noticable power with mufflers or a catback either way. The factory flow pipes are stainless as it is.

You really dont need anything bigger than 2 1/4 with duals when under 400 HP. I got flow 40s welded in my 04 gt. By the way I think it sounds really great.

Check e-bay for mufflers $87.55 free shipping, and personally I went 2.5 cat back Flowmaster with 40 series. If you plan on building it to 300 plus HP it is worth it to buy exhaust once so don't bother wasting your money on 2.25. Backpressure sucks!!!

That vid is'nt even remotely close to what just weld-ins will sound like. That guy had an offroad midpipe for sure. Is that guy serious with the Flowmaster bumper sticker?

Got em installed today for $210,The shop owed me a favor.

Its good to have some back pressure if your NA or you will lose low end torque. If boosted then its all good.

Their must be massive difference between them and the 40's. I friend of mine just has weld in 40's on his Mach and they make the exhaust a small amount deeper but nothing like that vid.

Ok heres the best I could get,crappy cell,no vid camera.Now Im totally stock except weld in 44's,the youtube vid he says is stock except cut out 2 of the 4 cats,he is also reving higher than I am,if I reved as high as he does with the cell it distorts badly on mine,but they sound really close If I rev more.

Thx,the more I drive it,the louder it has gotten,its even louder now than in the clip,wonder how much louder they will get by the time the burn in stops on em.
