Damn dude the car looks awsome!!!

Mines pretty slow :( Which i guess is why i started this pity thread hahaha

Basicly the only thing ive acomplished (besided completly stripping the car to the shell) Is to get like half of the engine bay blasted and primed lol.....i learned the hard way that a 35 gallon air compressor and a sand blaster dont get along well

And i got into bunch of court trouble and had to pay a bunch of $$$ to a lawyer so that set me back too :(. Im starting to get the ball rolling again though, i bought a tralier last week so i can get the shell to my shop so i can blast/prime there with good air

thanks bro, been a long road. i still need to get better pics of it where it isn't being rained on and it's all cleaned up.

keep at the restoration and don't let it get you down. mine was off the road for over 10 years!!!!!! and i've had it for 23 years and it has never looked this good since i bought it. the sad part is that it will soon be up for sale so we can buy a house, we're renting right now, and since i can't work any more because of my back the car is going to have to make the down payment, but that's ok because i've already got a 69 cougar for the next project. it's a low mile original car that has never really been jacked with other than a crappy repaint of the passenger side for what reason we really don't know, there isn't any big dents or anything so we're guessing it was probably a big key scratch or something. the car will need paint and a disc brake conversion and i've got a ton of goodies i've been saving for the next project too.

luckily, the interior is all original and in really great shape and the engine/trans have never been apart. it's ps, ac, 351-2v, auto car that just needs paint and some TLC and reassmbly. it's about half torn down for the repaint tht never happened because my freind i'm buying it from has major eye problems and can't work on the car anymore, he's had a couple cornea transplants already and is about to have a 3rd. he' happy that i'm buying the car because he knows i'll put it back together right and make a nice car out of it again.
