Got my pedals installed a couple of weeks ago. I didnt hook up the NSS to the pedals fearing it may cause some issues if the AOD was still there.

So i left it unplugged, i never found where it was, i assumed it was right there, but now i am struggling to even locate it.

any help, pics would help out alot!

thanks!

PS. cant the NSS on the tranny be left undone and the car still run??

if the NSS circuit is open on the tranny side, it wont start......that was my problem on my T56 swap....i beleive its on a 4 prong connector with the cruise control..you can check a wiring diagram for the correct color wires

The NSS connector is taped up high under the dash. I didn't connect mine as I'm the only driver and religiously depress the clutch anyway on start-up. I had to buy a harness from Ford that plugs into the trans and rewire it to start-up and make the reverse lites work. If this sounds like the way you want to proceed, e-mail me and I'll look underneath the car to see what I did. It was 10 years ago I did this.

my 5 speed swap didnt involve any wiring mods except unpluging the jumper wire in the neutral s.s. and unpluging the harness in the tunnel what was left plugged right into my 5 speed and my back lights work my car is a 91 gt vert its the best mod yet
