On a budget

I posted this in the power adders forum, but noone seemed to be responding -

I was wondering if it was possible to pick up a (slightly) used Novi 1000 or the RR system for my bullitt for 2-3k? I'm only looking to run 5-6psi, very conservative figures, and am looking to do the installation myself. Is this even possible? What's the cheapest way to do this? Btw, I have 24lb injectors, and i've heard that these are large enough for low boost. Any help would be appreciated!

Im doing the same thing you are here. I am buying a used kit that has 5k miles on it for $1800 and all I will need is a chip and fuel pump. This is a great idea if you have goals like we do. If you can find one with low miles or for a cheap enough price to justify buying it used then i say go for it, just be careful when buying used. good luck

When you say "system" are you talking about the blower itself or the blower and everything else you need? If you're only going to run 5-6lbs of boost, there are plenty of other ways to get the same hp for 3grand.

Actually, you could donate the 3 grand to me so I can go with forged internals and run more boost.
