In the end, you can always get a new car...your health is the most important thing.

Glad to hear you're ok. I was another fan of your car, sad to see it go

Glad you are safe Clay

Really bad to see your 94-95 Stang go by the wayside

I just hate to see that happen to these particular Stangs

It is getting so hard to find one these days that is not ... all hosed up :Word:

Good Luck with your search for a replacement ride

Grady

Glad your okay. Stupid people like the one who clipped your car and ran away should be kicked in their teeth! Your cobra was one of the best looking on this site

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Tomorrow I get to go out and get the car and see just how bad the frame is. I'd like to get the car back like it was but from what I saw that might take more money than it's worth. Like I said though, It looks like I can salvage almost everything. The only things that I won't be able to reuse is one of the rims, 2 of the tires, the fluidyne, the fan, and some front suspension pieces (which sucks cuz I just changed out my steering rack a week ago). I'm not 100% sure but I think the rear axle may be bent...and my airbags went off so I need new ones.

the A1000 pump, fuel lines, engine, tranny, etc seemed to not be affected at all. A tailpipe is bent but that can easily be fixed...the rest of the exhaust system looked to be good.

BTW...if you're planning on doing the battery relocation...don't get a plastic box..do it right and get a metal one. Apparently I hit hard enough for the battery to shatter the plastic box :O

This was on the cosgrove exit of I-26. I got off the exit and got over...after I was over I felt the back-end get loose and that was that. I'm not sure what the exit number is though. It's right before you cross the bridge to get to west ashley

I'm gonna get the pics up sometime today.

The airbags did go off

The front half of the body (from sideview up) doesn't look to great..but everything behind that is in ok shape. I think its gonna cost a good bit to fix it though

the way the cars are designed they are meant to crumple up front to not seriously injure passengers.

i'm really sorry about your car. even if your not hurt physically your probably hurt mentally from that whole experience and maybe losing your car.

my cars paint sucks , and when i wax waxing it i saw a little scratch that wasn't there last time, and i got kinda bent out of shape about it.

i think its a stang owner thing hah.

Well it's not as bad as I thought. The frame's bent a bit and all kinds of suspension stuff is screwed. I know the insurance company's gonna total it out though. The fiberglass hood looks decent in the pics but the front of it's bent in and broken up pretty badly. The RH front rim is cracked pretty badly I hate that cuz they were actual saleens...but oh well..I have 3 other good rims haha. I got the emblems off the car btw. Taking these about made me cry, lol.

btw, this isn't exactly how I wanted to get the camaro and the mustang together for pic...haha

HAHAHA, no kidding lol. It was easy to get to, too...cuz originally it was pointed towards the wheel well so all I had to do was move the well a bit if I ever needed to change a fuse.
