Thats right yesterday i went on local drag strip once again before snow comes down
I run 7 times and i a lot of fun , first 2 runs i burn hell of my King Cobra clutch and run some slower times and even slower MPH
Than i decide to dich some extra stuff in trunk and lower air pressure on my Nitto DRs
I decide not to slip cluts anymore because of sliping, so i launched hard 6300rpms with dump cluts and floor it, every time i did this car jumps and bogged down but this time i had different springs on front, before i had 2" drop all way around now i installed stock rears and 4 cilynder Fox body front ones, front end raise higher then before

Any way i had make 5 runs with this setup and best one was 12.76 MPH was off because it didn't work right, but on run before this one i had 108.8 run which is .8 mph faster than my previous from a few months before

So i lowered E.T. from 12.84@108 to [email protected] with 75mm Throttle body
Yes thats right those a few extra pony' a got from 75mm TB helped me lowered my E.T. and burn my cluts which i don't care

Once again thanks Grn92LX for 75mm TB advice

Now its time to work on winter project

Ernan, how did the 60', the 1/8th mile MPH, and the 1/8th mile ET compare to your old best? What was the weather like between you old best run and this run? Based on what you apparently gained on the dyno graph, you should have seen more of an increase than what you did, unless the clutch was hindering that.

60ft and 1/8 are almost the same, i don't think its the springs because car bogged down, with lowering springs i almost never bogged down

Temp was litlle bit lower than last time, but humidiry was high

I think clutch is the reason i couldn't get better e.t. ,meybe .10 more ???

Anyway i'm tired playin n/a , next year will be with something else, don't know what yet

I agree. The dyno showed fairly big gains, I would have expected a bit more of a gain. The bogging on your launch is definatly hurting you as is the burnt clutch you said. I would have liked to see a solid 2mph gain based off the dyno increase, but bogging and burnt clutches don't exactly help you go faster :D At least you didn't slow down ;)

Since you're bored of n/a, heres what I say, get a nitrous kit and play with that and still be able to run on motor. If you're staying with this 302, i'd ditch that intake since your car was nose diving up top and i'd also look into some weight reduction.

Theres also more weight reduction to be had by doing uca lca's and k member, as well as a different rear suspension setup. Get that grip right and that clutch to stick and times will be vastly improved.
I also agree with the nitros setup, (for now at least) its cheap and you'll get almost all your money back when you sell it.
