Been wanting to do a five lug since I had my first Mustang back in 02, sold it (like an idiot) in 05 after doing a bunch of work to it, and didn't get back into a Mustang until March of 08. Drove this one without doing much to it for a couple of years, has 150K miles (roughly) on pretty much factory everything (yes even shocks/struts). Then I got a lot of bills out of the way, and saved up some overtime to do this:

Think my sway bar bushings were bad?

No outside photos cause we didn't finish up until about 10pm, but it's all buttoned up except for the alignment, which I plan to try and get done on Monday first thing. Big thanks go out to my friend Ski, cause I wouldn't have gotten the car back together this weekend without him!

Put in new sway bar bushings, lower A arm bushings, Moog 95GT ball joints, MM sub frames, the MM Starter Box, 95GT spindles, Ranger rear axles/drums, with Cooper Zeons and Bullitts off an 01 Bullitt. Needless to say I am quite tired, but pleased with the outcome. I had to spread it out over a couple of weekends due to the fact that my Starter box (despite being ordered March 14th) didn't show up until this past Thursday.

looks really good man, sounds like a nice list of improvements. tell us how it rides monday!

Will do for sure. I could tell the car was driving a whole lot better when I was bringing it home from getting the sub frames installed, wish I could get it aligned today so I could put some miles on it and see the difference.

Aww man you should of put some lowering springs in there while it was apart.

Err uh... I did, the isolators haven't settled yet.

Thanks for the compliments guys, it was a bunch of work, but worth it every time I look at it. I drove it up an down the road today and confirmed it needs an alignment very soon.

If you can do that stuff you can do the alignment. If you know how to use a tape measure it's a piece of cake. Looks good btw. Paint your inner feners.

Got a link to instructions? Tried to get it aligned but they wouldn't do it cause supposedly my hub bearings and inner tie rods are shot (rack only has 10K miles on it so I gotta investigate that this weekend).

You pull the tape on the front and back of the front tires, measure from the same point across the tread pattern on each side. Adjust your tie rods until you get the same measurement front and back. Then give each tie rod 2/3 of a turn in or so. You want ~1/8in of toe in. (front tires pointed towards each other)

If you don't want to go that route, take it to a different shop. I know around here Les Schwab is horrible about talking you into buying new front end parts when you want an alignment.

Well, after I get done fixing whatever needs fixing I might give it a try (won't be able to do anything about the alignment otherwise anyway). I suspect the inners are just loose and not worn out. The guy that put the car on the rack has done alignments for me before, he didn't try to sell me the parts or labor cause he knows I'm just going to do it myself anyhow.
