Ok....so my 95 gt with 125k began to have a rough idle and sometimes it was difficult to start, so I took off the IAC and cleaned it....after that, there was a noticeable difference.....but sometimes there was still a difficult start.

I bought a new IAC and when putting it on, I stripped the bottem thread, yikes....it looks like it is pretty tight though.....anyway.....now my car idles at 2500 rpms.....I disconnected the darn thing, and there is no difference.

I disconnected the battery for 30 mins, and there was no difference.

Is it possible to put one on backwards, cause the one I bought came with an extension cable for the plug.

Help......I will probably have to buy a new TB which I had planned anyway....with the top screw nice and tight the seal looks pretty good. I am out of town for a week, or else I would remove my old TB and reset the bottom screw.

Thanks
