A group of us ran our cars at the spring mountain track in Nevada....my first time at the place. Very Complex late apexing sweepers....one straight I can get about 125 (5300rpm 3:27 gears) .
check out this track map....1 and 2 are 4800rpm 3rd gear sweapers...3 is 2nd gear on to 3rd (downhill) through switchbacks real high rpm 2nd gear turn 4, 5a and b are 2nd ...6 is a very pronounced 3rd gear 90 mph corner to a 2nd gear 110% right...then to about 125 ....

Nice photos. You sure make this track thing hard to not do, just need to win the lottery now Good description of the track, makes me feel like I am living it.
Its really not to bad...big expense is tires....I am kinda committed to competition shaved tires....I do have some help from Khumo...Redlinetrackevents.com here in Socal is real cheep and allows for me to train the clients Im bringing in. we may run the "streets of willow" course. I may have (4) 04 cobras in training there...I really want these guys to have a great time at the Buttonwillow event at the end of the month...so giving them some driving tools, confidence, and understanding of the dynamics of road course work is the goal here...
