It looks like I need a new clutch. Gosh, how did that happen? The "NOTCH" as of last night had a Centerforce Dual Friction. Now it has no friction and a lot of small dual pieces. I know this is not the only company out there that makes a great clutch system, Speck, Mcloud, etc. Want your opinions on who makes the best, where to get one at a great price.

The car is making 507 rwt so I need a healthy clutch. More power to come in the future. (turbo) :D

Thanks,

Ben :flag: SEMPER FI

Mcleod, Ram, Spec, they all make decent ones. It seems like lately the streetable Spec 3's have been not lasting with a lot of nitrous or boost. Might not be a bad idea to try a twin disk clutch since you want it to hold a 150 shot.

My spec stage one holds a 150 shot at just under 500 ft lb of torque and this is it's second season. The spec is a great clutch if broke in properly. Bills stage 3 seems to hold ok.

How many times has Bill's car actually sprayed on the streets? It's a whole different story when you’re off the rollers.

I really like the Spec 3+ for most purposes and would recommend it to anyone under 600 rwhp.

Maybe since you have the magic touch, I should bring my car up there and let you put in a new clutch (Spec 3) and break it in and see if it holds?;)
