Allright guys I need some info on how to spend some coin on the car.

I just recived my tax refund and have around 1000 I am willing to spend on the car. The car is a 96 gt with 202xxx kms (120000 miles) and still running strong it put down 197 hp last summer on a mustang dyno.:

So the plan is as follows: Pi heads and cams taken off of an 04 gt with around 30000kms on them - $450
Now when it comes to topping off the new heads is where i hit a dilema 2 options exist: 1) stock pi intake - $125
or 2) Bullitt intake, cobra tb, cobra alternator, and a cai - He is asking $550

Now if I go for the second option i realize i will have to come up with a little more coin but it is doable just means not getting a new T.V.

So my question is the bullitt intake worth the extra $400 or would that money be better directed else where?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Forget the PI heads...if you do that compression goes up, which means the engine will be less boost-friendly if you go that route in the future. Personally I don't see why everyone spends $1000+ dollars on a PI head swap...you can spend $600 on a nitrous kit and see WAY more horsepower gain and MASSIVE amounts of torque. I say you get a Nitrous Express wet kit and spray a 100 shot. The engine can easily handle that amount of juice. Then spend the extra $300-$400 on whatever you want (maybe that TV you want).

pi heads arent much better the npi head they flow only 15cfm more on the intake, and have a little more compression, most on the power comes from the intake and cams, just do a pi intake and cams you could do them for under 300$ that will be a very noticable difference in power, look at my sig, then spray it
