im in need of a new shifter. i like the pro 5.0 but i like the fact that the mgw can swivel. i just wanted to hear some personal opinions of u guys/gals that have the MGW. im so torn between the two. :SNSign:

yeah, i made the exact same thread last week and everyone was pointing to the MGW. it looks sick, not to mention i guess it's a lot of fun. so thats what im doing.

I bought one used off of somebody here on stangnet (forget his name), and it is BADA$$!! Best shifter I've had so far.

I wanted a mgw but they weren't out for the t5 so I got a pro 5.0. Low and behold a couple months later they released it. I was so pissed. Not that I hate the pro 5.0 but the mgw is a badass piece.

I've got an MGW, but I have a T56, so I can't comment on how it performs on a T5. It is a very very nice and solid unit though.

Installed the MGW a couple of days ago.The only shifter I've ever had before is the stock one.I am just getting used to it - I find I have to give it a more deliberate nudge to get it into gear especially second.I know I'm supposed to love it based on all the great comments I have heard but I'm not there yet.

Im trying to decide between the MGW and the Pro 5.0
I think I am going to go with the Pro because its a lot shorter and i think the MGW one looks like crap when its isntalled, I'm still on the fence though so it could change. I was wondering what people thought about the looks?

It looks identical to stock assuming you put the boot back on and reuse the knob.
