They make me want to puke... is it just me?

And these make we want to punch babies.

They just don't belong, they look too new, and too humongous as one giant undivided piece of plastic.

Stick to what you know.. LX or SVO or Cobra>Cheesegraters>Aftermarket Rice Craplights

not feeling wither of those, but I will say a smoked version of the top ones on the right car could be sinister.

They just look like cheap aftermarket pep boys/autozone garbage. It is not right on our year cars. Besides, nothing wrong with what the factory put back there. Sorry, but if something is standing out on your car and it's the damn tail lights, you are doing something horribly wrong.

Why put modern style lights on a car that qualifies as an antique?

Doesn't look right

I think they would look ok with a stock lens. Not feeling the clear lens.

Saw the pics on a local forum here, and everyone commented how good they look... I didn't say anything there, but they look like they don't belong to me. Everyone is allowed to build whatever car they want, and I'm allowed to make fun of it when it looks stupid (especially on the internet).

Thanks for keeping me sane :SNSign:

I think they look bad. ( not to be confused w/ good)

I think the aftermarket is struggling to offer something different to those wanting to stand out from the crowd. The problem is that the "offerings" come off as cheap. cheesy, and out of style by the time they get to production.
The fox is the only mustang that doesn't have the tri-panel tail light in some form, as every other version of the car had. I just don't get why somebody can't offer a quality option with that design theme that doesn't scream "Made in China".

( Despite the fact that mine were)

I've always wondered what a fox 3-bar light would look like. I found an 82 which is close and did a chop
View attachment 172744

It can be done if you're a master bodyshop guy with connections to a plastic moulding place that cold build the new taillights.

they look out of place to me

things should look like they belong... the ideal modification is one that doesn't stick out, one that looks clean and oem, one that people hardly even notice until you point it out.

I always liked the '79-82 tail lights. I had a set and almost put them in my car but i didn't want to have to modify the body to get them to mount in.
