I just ordered a set of BBK Long Tube Headers & BBK catted Shorty X-pipe. It should be here Friday & installed Saturday by a Mustang builder I know. W/in a couple months I'll add an American Thunder Flowmaster Catback to it. Thoughts.

Did you order the 02 sensor extensions ?? you will need them .

Dont get flows. Get a straight through muffler. I promise you'll love it -
Flows are raspy with an X pipe.

well maybe not as much w/ cats but straight through sounds sooo nice w/ LT's, and o/r X. Check out those vids, and post up your opinion.

I don't mind rasp. I didn't have to order the O2 sensor extensions cuz my mechanic'll rewire them so they'll fit.

I bet an SLP would sound nice with that setup, plus there wouldn't be any drone.

I've heard Magnapacks but don't like them. They just sound like noise to me (no offense). I like the old classic Flowmaster sound, after being dead-set against it for years.

we put that bbk combo on an 03 cobra last weekend, with stock mufflers it wasnt that much louder at all, but the flows will make it sound badass .

if you really want a pimp setup put in some packs and a o/r h pipe. it will be so loud and nice

Yeah I did hear that H-pipes sound better than Xs but Xs out perform H-pipes.

I have the BBk full lengths and an o/r x-pipe with bassani QT thunder cat-back. It sounds unreal especially when at WOT.
