update:
cams are in
i didnt paint anything
i am disappointed in the sound as of right now, hopefully my tuner has some sort of trick up his sleeve to make the car sound somewhat 'cammed' / im sure ill be happy with the numbers it makes. when compared to the vid of the stage 1 pi blower cammed bullitt on you tube, my car sounds almost completely stock.

ill post a vid up soon

What's your idle RPM set to? When I installed mine they loped great, but it would frequently die d/t what I suspect is a failing IAC. I had to raise my idle as my car wouldn't stay running and it hardly lopes now. Once I get a new IAC I'm going to have my tuner decrease the idle RPM so I can hear them lope again.

im guessing somewhere around 850 - 900. when i have it tuned, since i have a switch chip, im going to have him set my daily driver tune at 750 or so and detune it (still on stock shortblock). then for my strip tune, ill have him run a lil more timing and increase the rpm so no one knows its cammed

Yeah mine is around 850 too and I don't hear any lope... ideally I'd like my idle to be around 600 RPM's, but if it doesn't stay running at a stoplight I can't have that either.

My car at 900+ is barely noticeable. But I set the idle down around 700, and you can really hear it thumping. And it idle's fine like that.

I've actually got a video I'm putting together right now of some miscellaneous videos I've taken in the last week.

Our cams are dang near identical, other than that yours have 1 more degree on the exhaust side (which is even better for a blower), 1 more degree of LSA (also better), and .025 more lift. They should make good power.

And they should sound pretty similar, if not a tad rougher, than mine. It is very easy for a tuner to smooth up an idle (even at the same RPM) via the spark advance, so he should be able to adjust it pretty easily for your desires.

Update:

I took it to get tuned last night. It made 376RWHP / 362 RWTQ on a mustang dyno. That is right around 420 on a dynojet i think. I had them detune it. I ran out injector at 5960 rpm, it went from 11.5 af to 12.0 at 6k. Rev limiter is set at 6k, and I am comfortable pushing 60 rpm at 12.0

My tune idling at 700rpm doesnt cackle as much as sneaky's.

The overall sound of the car is nasty now though. When I lay in to it, it sounds sick. The SOP dyno feels great, although it's scary as hell when you lay into it in 4th at 75 mph and the car goes sorta sideways on an on ramp...

Video in the works; for now - dyno sheet.

Nice! I bet it feels good!

I'm gonna take a guess and say that you are a little disappointed in your numbers. I'm a great example showing that dynos are NOT accurate power measurement tools. They are TUNING tools. Don't get discouraged. Take it to the track, see how it does. I ran 11.94 @ 118.4 mph with "335" rwhp.....

I agree, dyno's are tuning tools and the track is the best place to gauge what it picked up. I am ok with the numbers, I figured it would make between 425 and 450, and after a 12% correction factor of a mustang dyno vs a dynojet, i am right around 425. Not to mention, that it did make more power with the a/f closer to 12 and timing @ 18*, I told him I wanted the a/f @ 11.5 and I wanted timing at 15*, i did not see the point in stressing my motor out for 15 more rwhp. Plus I already knew that I was going to get the magnapacks, and i figured that it would probably bring my a/f up to around 11.6 or 11.7 or so by going to a straight through design.

My disappointment lies with the idle, i expected it to be a little rougher than it is. I am kind of hoping that once I swap out the flowmasters for magnapacks its going to sound better. I had to switch my o/r h pipe out for my catted x due to emissions testing day before yesterday and it almost completely silenced what little lope i had with the o/r. Fortunately that is just a temporary thing.

I cant wait to take it to the track. The best time I ever got out of it was a 12.6 @ 111 mph. I am still rolling on street tires and traction is going to be an issue.
