Im thinking of getting another escort GT as a 2nd car, i used to have one, and it was actually fun to drive, but slow. What im wondering is do they make nitrouis kits for em? cause that would be a cool import eater lol.

yes they do but, for what u pay for that u can get a 95 96 gst eclipse and it only takes about 500 bucks to get those in the 8.5's in the 1/8th i had a 95 that ran 8.4's in the 1/8th and had a 160k on it payed 3000 for it turned and sold it that night at the track for 4500.
I have a buddy right now who has a 93 Escort GT and that alone is an import eater, stock at least. And beyond that hes doing a GTX swap now that should put him around 180hp/190tq, remembering front wheel drive thats a lot of power to weight. Im looking forward to it. 
lol hell ya, i used to own a 91' Black 5-speed it was my first car, lol and it was pretty damn fast i think cause due to the gearing the gt has, you could shift 1,3,5 no problem, so it really ripped when shifter correct. lol i want another, but with nitrous cause that would be a sleeper!

that is my exact car i have a black 91 escort gt and i run imports all the time the only cars i have trouble with are the turbo ones .it has been a great car and is fun to drive every day, that is how i keep the miles down on the stang

I have a 93 Escort GT with 161+ miles, still running strong... It is a fairly quick little car, for a 4 banger. It will smoke a lot of the imports with the 18. Mazda motor rated at 137 hp & 135 tq. The EGT is a light car, so it moves right along. The gearing is perfect in these things. And a +, it gets 30 mpg...

Can someone post pics of some nice looking ones? Im also looking for a DD, it doesnt have to be fast, just reliable/looks ok. So far im either going with a Probe or a Civic, but im kinda brand loyal so.
