There are ways to get out of speeding tickets regarding technicalities. You just have to know a little bit about triginometry involving cosign errors.

Give me a little information about what happened. Was the cop using a measuring instrument like a radar or lidar *laser gun? Was he moving? Was it radar or laser? Where was the cop? What sorts of things were near you where he clocked you? All of these variables play major rolls in determining accuracy of the radar.

Using what I know about cosign error and and how to "correctly" operate and speed measuring device, I did some research last year for my research class. I probed 3 different agencies in Central Florida. I had about 25 officers fill out a 22 question survey to find out if they are using their radar/lasar guns correctly.

Guess what I found? Almost half of them used their radar guns from distances of 300ft or more while moving in the opposite direction. Now anyone that knows anything about radar knows that it becomes less and less accurate from distances of 300ft or more from the target. The chances of surrounding variables also plays factors in distances that far away from the target. I also found that this was based on inproper schooling.

Bottom line: moving radar works for you, stationary radar works against you.
