Ok, I guess the bumper on my car was painted before I got it. Probably a dealer sprayed it. Anyway it looks as if they didnt take the bumper off or mask it up very well either. I notice over spray on the headlight (a little) and under the honeycomb grilll and obviously under the hood.

Is there anything that will remove this over spray without trashing the clearcoat (bullitts have clear under the hood). I tried some polishing compound and it kinda worked but there has to be a better way. Thanks in advance for the help

I say +1 for teh claybar. Just go buy a claybar from an auto parts store (comes with a 'solution'). You wash the car first and then you can dry it off or not ... Basically all you have to do is take the claybar and cut it in half. This is so if yo u drop it on the floor, you can still use the other half. If you drop the claybar on the ground, throw it away!!

Kinda flatten out the claybar and spray the car with the included spray, then rub the claybar with varying pressure but usually not very hard at all. Remember to keep it wet where you are claybar-ing. Once one side gets dirty (which it will quickly with that much overspray) just mead the piece of clay. Rip it in half then put it back together .. ya know?

Really easy and I think It would help ... I used one for overspray on my car when someone got overspray on my hood, worked great. Good luck.
