I know its been posted on here before, but what's the part number for the plugs for the back of the heads when you take the air pump hose of? I think I remember you could get them from Ford.

Thanks

If you still have your crossover pipe, probably the easiest fit is to simply cut off the fittings from the pipe. Then turn each one upside down and bolt them back on so the back of the fitting fits over the hole in the head blocking it. If you have the crossover that came off and a hacksaw, it's free.

ya'll made me go downstairs and take this picture of the cylinder heads :)

That works, I still don't understand the turning the crossover pipe backwards and bolting back in, anyone got a picture of that? Maybe I have to pull it out first, then I'll understand it?

Yes, it should be self-explanatory when you pull those ugly things off the back of your heads :)

The spark plug thing worked like a charm, was cheap, and took up less room than the flipped pipe, and I'd say the plugs seal better than just a flat surface against the back of the heads :flag:

it should.... are your holes are course tread, and will a spark plug almost screw in (by hand) but not really fit? If so they should fit... Search through some of the old posts in here, I remember seeing the ford part # your talking about,, but is that for cast heads???
