I changed the engine and added a turbo to my 2005 Mustang GT. It was running so well then it blew the head gaskets! Long story short, put it back together and it made 535 RWTQ and 500 RWHP on a Mustang dyno, then it decided to give me a P012 code. I don't know whats wrong. With that kind of power being made I highly doubt that the timing chains were installed wrong. Does anyone have any Ideas? I really am at a loss, and would love some advice. The only other possibility is the VCT solenoids. Unless the guy that fixed the heads screwed up the cam Phaser assembly on bank 1.

I am sure that there was something that was messed up but I'm not sure what it was. Is it the Phaser assembly, is the a VCT solenoid, Is it not timed right, does it have something to do with the tune? There are a lot of things that it might be, I'm just not sure where to start, and I didn't really want to tear it all apart!
There's different codes for most of that. Sounds like the timings off. But I would speak to a shop owner or mechanic well versed in modular engines and Ford codes. See what they say. Try giving Sutton a call.
