Just checking to see if anyone on here was planning on heading out to the TNT this Wednesday. I plan to be there when it opens at 4:00. Hopefully the weather cooperates... forecast is good so far.

I'll be out there on the 19th (Friday) for the Car Club Challenge event.

We need more Ford Drag team members.

CCC is a series of 10 bracket races in which drivers try to earn points for their team. The cost is $5 for the entire year. You can compete-in as many of the events as you choose. You get points for running the first race and for staying each round thereafter. Only one race has been completed thus far. Almost no one makes all the races (I certainly won't). At the end of the year, the winning team gets a trophy. There are also awards for those who win top points. At each event, the winner and runner up get trophies. All cars must be street legal, including tires. No slicks are allowed and no open exhaust. It is a format for people who do not really care about individual weekly bracket racing. CCC is more of a team sport. If you lose early at the CCC event, you are usually allowed to Test and Tune with everyone else. CCC members will typically have the chance to make more passes than those doing TnT on a given day. As Tyler wrote above, we need people for the Ford Drag Team. The Team us currently in second place after a great first race. Two years ago the team was in last place and the smallest of the Clubs. We are now very competitive.

I hope that helps. We can use everyone. If you are a beginner, don't worry, you will learn. No one on the team is a serious bracket racer. It's all for fun. We usually park together and offer as much support as possible. Problem solving, advice, and strategy are usually the focus.

so if I pay $5 thats it? then I can race at any of the rest of the CCC events without paying more? I've never taken mine to the strip but I'd like to try it out maybe tomorrow at the TnT or on Friday at the CCC

$5 one time fee for your first CCC event, but you still have to pay the entry fees each event to get into the track which is seperate of the series.

It's on a rotating schedule, so some weeks it at Bremerton and other Pacific. That mixes it up, really makes it fun.
