So I decided to start painting some of my wheels since I am still waiting for the right egr tube to come in from bbk. The one in the picture is just with a gloss black and no clear coat. I tried to clear coat my other one but it screwed up the look of the wheel and actually made it a silvery black and blotchy.

Let me know what you think

I thought about doing that, but my car is sapphire blue. I dont know if it would look right or not... If you dont mind, could you put both black wheels on one side and drop the car down for a pic to see what it would look like just sitting in the driveway? That may help my decision if you have the time to it and dont mind... I want something different then the norm, but didnt know if that was a good way to go.

Well...The one that came with the BBK headers didnt fit so they are sending me another one...I tried to make one but flare on the end of the tube was leaking pretty bad...What size tubing did you use for yours?

1. rims look good to me......would like to see a close up...

2. If you are going to continue to work on your car, do yourself a favor and get a new jack........

Harbor Freight......

I know....it was cheap and it does the job.........what else do you need...........been there Dan....

Finish up rims and take some close up pics....

I do have a bigger craftsman jack, but it is holding up my brothers camaro in his garage right now, so I went out and bought that for $50. Ill get a close up of them....I really wish I could put a clear coat on it but it looked ****ty. So I have no idea how long this paint is going to last.

Also is it me or does it take forever to get stuff in from harbor freight?

Edit: Got bored So I went out to my shed and took pictures of the wheels. Sorry for the bigger pictures...The edges as you can see are a little rough but i think they came out pretty decent. Also I believe the top one is the one i tried to save after the clear coat mishap

Here is the one wheel:

Here is the other one with the center cap laying on top...its not all the way on

dan there's a harbor frieght like 10 mins away from you. i forgot what town it's in i think it's saddlebrook, look it up on their site.
just take 21 to the end, get on 46 east. and make a left on north 5 th street ( iirc it's like the 2nd or 3th light on 46), you drive down to the first light which is a couple of blocks away thats market street and make a right. as soon as you make the right you'll see the sign for harbor frieght on the left, it's set back behind the burger king.

later joe

btw the rims looked good, but i think chrome tribars would look better on your vert.

Another picture as requested...Only one more wheel to go...Too bad my EGR pipe came in from BBK and it is still screwed up and wont fit. So Now I have to figure out how to make a decent one that wont leak.
