If anyone knows such a place where I can fine proper painting articles, such as primer, finish coat, clear coat, sanding, etc.. Please let me know. I done some painting myself and i have the Bright Red matching paint. But its not as shiny as the original red and I know it has something to do with proper sanding and clear coating.. Thank you

This is one of my summer mods underway :D

That is a great site for all kinds of tips and tricks. There is actually a free painting tips e-book that you can download. They have forums where you can ask questions, (although they dont look to be too active) and if you feel like paying some money, you can buy 'how to' videos from them. I'd tell you more, but I only found this site late last night when I couldn't sleep. Heh, couldn't stop thinking about how cool it would be to paint the Mustang black. Anyways, good luck.

Thanks!!! I thought about black many times. It also covers up im-perfections better. Buty after seeing Stanggrrlys Red stang (like mine) I have decided to try to give it the nice red as hers does. i have a pretty good red now but I have done a bit of body work to the fenders and hood and well its a bit rougher looking then the original shine, so i want this summer to redo the body work I have done earlier this winter and do it right and try to get the best red and shine :D Thank you once again

Good luck with your painting undertaking. Be sure to post all kinds of pics, before and after, during, finshed product, all that stuff. If I stumble across any other painting tips and tricks websites then I will be sure to post em up here for ya to get more knowledge about how it's done.
