Looking to buy this Mach1 but can't quite figure out the buck tag completely. I figured you possibly could.

I can't figure out the two digit codes completely...I can't find anything in the code books.

you sure it's not a GT or a boss? the only cars that had GT in the buck tag i'ma aware of were either GT's or bosses. the rest of the codes i can't say for sure

Yikes that's alot of 2 digit codes!!!!! Let me pull some reference materials tonight and get back to you ASAP.

I think the GT is Correct. I seem to remember the X's mach had that too.

Can you list all options?

I'll take a stab at some of the codes (I see your car is Metuchen built like my mach)

63c = Mach 1
3a - Interior code
vin (H - 351 2v)
GT - Competition suspension
TT - Two Tone (Black out hood)
RM - Remote Mirror
MO -?
HP -? (my 69 has this one as well)
GS-? (Gold stripe??) would work with the lime paint

These are guesses - pretty good ones (from past experience) but as far as I know those tags have never been fully decoded. -
My mach has additional codes like:
DE - Dual exhaust
PB - Power Brakes
DB - Disc Brakes.
You have to remember - these were codes used in assembly of the car and there was no set code - TT could have easily been BH for Blacked out hood.


There was an article on them in Mustang Monthly at one time (saying pretty much the same thing) - So if I am wrong....

Good guesses....So I guess I have stumbled on a Mach1 for less than 2K. Anyone have a good digital pic of that model with the correct paint scheme?

Oh yeah Pak, "Frank" found a burgandy 69. He still wants a blue one though. He asked me to keep an eye out for one.

You did great finding a Mach 1 under $2000. I gave $4800 for my 70 Mach 1 I just bought

Thanks for the pic. Oh, I guess I didn't tell anyone...I haven't started haggling with him yet. I'll probably get it for $1500-$1700. She needs work, but she's all there.
