I've got a 69 Mach1, but this probably is the same for the 65-68 models as well. In the middile of the car where the parking brake cable loops through the idler arm and over to the adjuster mechanism, does the cable go under the exhaust pipe or between the exhaust pipe and the driveshaft?
I'm missing the idler arm so I can't hook it up yet. Hoping to save time by routing it through the correct place until the part gets here.
I will try and help even though I am from Dallas The parking cable should be above the exhaust and almost rubbing on the bottom of the floor boards. As for where the adjuster is I do not have the stock exhaust but it is above the exhaust there as well.
Thanks! I figured it would be close to rubbing the floorboards if it was above the exhaust. Seems like thats a better arrangement than having it under the exhaust where it could get snagged on somethign.
