Parking Brake Tension

I'm getting ready to upgrade my rear brakes on my 03 GT to Cobra style. Does anyone know how to relieve the tension on the parking brake cable so I can remove the caliper with ease.

Yes, but it is hard to describe. However, the Haynes manual has the procedure with pictures also. Its $10 at AutoZone.
