Hello everyone, i've been a member for almost a year and only posted a couple times, mainly cuz i can usually find the answer to my questions just by searching.
I currently have 95 mustang stock bottom end/heads/ cam
Current mods: edlebrock performer intake, ca intake, PRO M MAF, 3.73, performance AODE tranny, Underdrive pullies, AC/PS/Smog delete, BBK FP regulator, no cats/dual exhaust.
Ok heres the question(s): I just got a 302 shortblock bored .40 over (308) and im building it for mainly street use, low to midtrange power. I've been brainstorming different combinations of parts and i think im finally set on it. heres what im thinking.
AFRS 165 58cc
trickflow stage one cam .498/.512
upgrade to 24lbs injectors
aluminum 1.6 rr
Also im curious about the reliability of a 308, i know the cstin on the 302 are already thin enough, can i take any precautions to preven my brand new motor from blowing up on me?
