i did a similar swap, 90% of that stuff will work with your new engine. i had issues with my bbkshorty headers though, the ones i had on my 01s281 motor positioned my h pipe weird so when the engine torques the hpipe vibrates against the frama bit. when i had the swap done i used my old wiring harness and ecu, also my old plug wires and such. i also used my pi intake manifold for my new motor too. you should be all set unless im missing something.

grand marquis engine oh scratch what i said then, i have no idea what motor that is, if its a 2v 4.6 then you're alll set

yes the grand marquis is a 4.6l v2 same as the mustang, comes with the pi heads its a (2001), will I have to get a pi intake manifold? or can i just use the aluminum front one that I already have?

how about pulleys? will the 96 fin the 2001?

I am also guessing I should not put the 85mm MAF in the new engine and sell it, I dont think I need it for the mods I have... am i right?!

I would say that the aluminum manifold you have now will not fit on the PI motor, due to the design of the ports. Shouldnt be much different from stock ones in that respect, because non-pi manifolds wont work with pi heads.
