I have an '03 N/A. I just ordered a 9# KB for it. I want to get the Saleen gauge pod and the intercooler tank that Saleen uses. Where are these available from at the best prices? I have been reading here a while, and see that most opinions are you can get better service and pricing from places other than Saleen.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Kenne Bell sells a center gauge pod, I don't think Saleen sells the gauge pod alone anymore. I also don't know if the expansion tank would work, you would have to make sure they are the same sized hoses. ChicaneSport.com does sell aftermarket saleen expansion tanks. My plastic saleen one cracked and was leaking.

Contrary to popular belief, the gauges are made by Stewart Warner.

You can get the gauge pods off ebay. I reccomend the 03-04 gauge pod that has boost and intake air temp. The intake air temp patches into the computer and gives realtime air temperatures. You can still get this from saleen, but you can get it cheaper off of ebay. I see one every week or two.

I actually upgraded my 01 two gauge style to the 03-04 style, then moved the intercooler temp gauge to the A-pillar along with a Saleen fuel pressure gauge I got off of eBay.

EDIT: heres one on there now

Thanks for the reply. So Ford already has an intake air temp sensor installed? What is needed to be done to read it from the computer? I'm not really too keen on a-pillar gauges, so what is the general consensus on which is more important: Intake air temp or intercooler coolant temp?

I would think Coolant temp, if the pump stops or coolant leaks you really need to know ASAP. And Just a thought why dont you like the A pillar guages? I used the A pillar and love the guages, easy to see, close, and look nice. The only drawback is they are not in the stock Saleen position. I can post pics if you want.

Thanks for all the info.

MSTNG2, I personaly don't like the look of the A-pillar pod, looks to "bolt on" in my opinion. The dash pod looks a little "bolt on" as well, but that is the way Saleens come, so at least it looks somewhat stock. I just like a really clean look.

The Current gauge pod offered by Saleen has everthing included in it(one pc.). The gauges themselves at one time were Stewart Warner. Now they are actually for lack of better wording, a circuit board with the white face on the front of it. The two gauges are air inlet temp and boost pressure. You tap into the factory AIC sensor wiring and the boost is off of the boost sender i.e. Stewart Warner
