parts store fuel pump vs edelbrock pump

i bought a fuel pump from kragen and it came out to $110. the 155lph edelbrock pump is $112 plus s&h. is it worth the extra cash? if so ill take my other one back and order one.

I used to work at AZ and I can tell your parts store fuel pumps are crap. Those Master fuel pumps AZ has are junk, they would last six months to a year before the customer had to swap it for a new one. Plus you going to want he extra lph for future mods.

Find a Walbro, BBK pumps are Walbros, but they cost a little more because of the BBK name. The Eddy pump could be a repackaged Walbro too, a lot of them are.

Walbro makes most of the stang pumps out there. Summit house pumps are rebranded walbro's as well, stamped right on the side of my 190lph.

If you were closer the local Discount parts house has then for 68 bucks and at least the one i installed in my 90 GT was a walbro.
