Agreed! Heater core, brake booster, anything under the dash!

I just don't bend that way anymore.

I'd categorize working on stuff that sucks by the orientation of my face when working on it.
If I'm having to look up at it, I'm typically hating it.

Clutch quadrant can be a little mofo.

Replaced ball joints last weekend. Not the most fun I've ever had! The harbor freight ball joint press kit bent so I had to get out the BFH. My neighbors love me Going to tackle the rear main seal in the driveway this weekend. That should be loads of fun!

Door lock actuators, unless you have small hands. And the brake booster PITA is why I keep telling people to leave it alone when they're doing big brake upgrades. Totally unnecessary.

All those Ford OEM parts they dont make anymore like clocksprings and such that you have to hunt down

There is a simple trick to the brake booster swap. Slide the driver's seat all the way back, then prop the driver's side door open. You sit on the ground between the door and the body. Use a 3/8" drive 12" extension and a universal joint socket. You may need one of those weird semi deep Snap-On universal joint sockets the get the right clearance between the end of the bolt and the socket. You can get to all the nuts with a minimum amount of difficulty. Some tape or a disk magnet stuck in the socket helps hold the nuts to get it bolted back in place.

Same here... it is really difficult to get the broken bolt stubs out without damaging something else.

I have the fix for that, and it is inexpensive and lasts a very long time. The cost is: about $19 one side, $26 for both sides.

starter on an inline six fox body, especially if the car has the california emissions package. sure it looks easy at first, but you need to take the exhaust half apart to get the damn starter out. and if the california emissions package is on the car, you cant even see the damn starter.

I had no trouble doing my brake booster but that's because I didn't have my dash in or my front windshield ... Just saying

Just did one door lock actuator and agree... Cut my hands up getting in there.

Heater core a breeze for me. Did three already. What was a pita is those transmission lines on the aod. Got tired of that crap so swapped to a five speed lol quick engine swap now

Finding an almost dead door ringer. It is not loud enough to locate, just annoy us.
Under the dash stinks worse each year.
But a 4 eyes without factory AC is the easiest heater core change I ever did. I hope the aero mod I own has a super duty one!
Changing the tail shaft bushing without removing the T5 tranny was a pain. I had help that made a tool to do it.
