2 days ago I installed my 17x10.5 with BFG 315 at the rear. After mounting them and comparing from the back, I have the feeling the right side sticks out a little bit more than the left side like maybe half an inch.
Do I need an alignement ? I just changed the rear and I recently had an alignement before switching to those new rims/tires.
Anybody else noticed that ?

I know, I'm gonna look at it tomorrow. Maybe it's just a visual effect. I'll check if both rims have same depth and tires too.
Some people on this board also notice one of their rear tire was sticking out a little bit more (matbe 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch)

try to measure it off the car on both sides and see, i do alot of measuring and leveling at work and what looks level always isnt and what isnt level sometimes looks level. sorry if you are now more confused than before.

A half inch off isn't much, Ford's manufacturing tolerences are not that tight
for the body. As long as all of the suspension mounting points are straight
and true, you've had a recent alignment and no major wrecks, then I wouldn't worry about it. If you start messing with your suspension alignment to make the body line-up, then your asking for trouble.
