you would need to do some electrical troubleshooting to know for sure, but i think stangman is right.
you can pop the interior door panel off. then unbolt the motor (like 3 bolts or so) and slide the motor out. manually put window up. then reinstall motor. atleast the window will be up.
this is how it was on my vert atleast......took about 5 minutes to do (will take longer if you have not popped a door panel before).
good luck.

Well, the door panel was definitly taken off before because it is loose... the window when working, was slower than the drivers side, so i guess it was on it's way. guess i have to make a trip to the junkyard.... any purchase a window motor lately? any ideas of cost?

i got a quote of 60-80 depending on brand or something, that was from napa so thats prolly about right. my drivers side doesnt go down anymore, im glad mine got stuck up instead of down tho. about pulling off the door panel, when i did, the motor was still very hidden away under the frame of the door i guess. mines an 84 so does the year make a difference? thanks

on the 88 GT Vert, the motor was shrouded behind the inner door skin. but you could see the three bolts (i think it was three). pop those out, and the motor slides right out. i cant remember if the speaker has to be out to actually remove the motor, but if you want to get the window up, you can just slide the motor one inch down and pull the window, then bolt the motor back in.
good luck.
