Well barely bought a 98 ford v6, was working well, till I replace my battery. Notice the flashing of the anti theft, so I took to dealer said it was the pats transceiver. So I look into it, replace the pats transceiver that goes around the ignition, while I was replacing the pats I notice that the black wire that goes in the ignition cylinder lock was broken and was dangling. Look at the old transceiver that goes over the ignition, inspect the part notice there wasn't any crack or damage, but just that one black wire that sit inside the ignition cylinder that I notice that was broken. Trying to find the part but just keep seeing the transceiver that goes over the ignition. Trying to figure out What the part call, is there alternative part that would work, Just puzzle looking for some guidance.
