PATS transceiver and control modules HELP!

I have a '97 PATS transceiver module, but a June '98 PATS control module.

The connectors are different, but is the 97 transceiver compatible with the '98 control module if I splice them together?

Or if I replace the transceiver modules, Do I have to replace the PATS control module too, or just the transceiver?

Not sure if they are even complatible, but you will have to have them both reflashed by the dealer so that they are mated. Where did you get the seperate pieces? The dealer charges around $75 for reflashing your pcm to your PATS.
