Have a 91 gt with heads, upper/lower intakes, e cam, rods and lifters, and 30lb injectors with some other minor goodies.

I am looking at the novi 1000 kit and the V-1 SC kit.

As far as putting one on, are colder plugs going to be needed? And assuming no more than 8 lbs of boost, am I going to need a bigger fuel pump and or an FMU when I am planning to have the car professionally tuned?

Let's just say you are making around 300 FWHP now, with 8PSI you'll be making ~420-440 with a proper tune.

Your 30# injectors will be well over 80% duty cycle(closer to 95%) at 40 psi. You'll need to run them at around 60 psi to get them ~80% at full boost. This will require an FMU and at least an external booster pump to be safe. Possibly a high pressure in-tank could work as well.

Personally I do not like running FMUs as a good tune and larger injectors are a better solution IMO. But you would need to run 36/38#ers to get this done.

a rule of thumb is 1 step colder for every 100HP, so you should run 2 ranges colder to be on the safe side.

I would prefer the Vortech SC series, but the Novi is also a very good blower. You'll be happy with either.... I would say Procharger P1SC above either, but you did not list it as a choice.
