pictures for this?? I'm a visual learner. the PCV is located on the lower intake manifold by the wire wall, the big vac hose (theres only one correct?) goes to the vacc tree, correct?

I'm getting blowby I know bc oil is coming up and around the PCV, I had to push it back down in there. But I dont want any postive pressure in my block for obivious reasons. Whats the best way to do this?

I have the vacumm line on the oil fill tube to a seperator that is one way.

DJSTORM100, the PCV on the back of the lower intake should have a hose going to the upper intake, but there is also a big hose that goes from the vac tree to the upper intake as well. I'm not sure why your PCV would be popping out, I didn't run into that problem. Maybe VRISTANG will be on, and have an idea about that. Hope this helps. Keep us informed, and I will try to help also.

I'll try to get you a picture after work. I'll get a shot of my setup. What make of intake are you using?

Below is my second pcv setup...

Keep in mind that even if you had perfect ring sealing, there would still be pressure buildup in the crankcase. This is simply due to the reciprocating action of the pistons.

Have you done a leakdown and compression test?

How much blowby do you have with the pcv out of the intake and valve cover? When I first got the '93 the PO had run 87 in it for as long as he had it, didn't know any better. It detonated on the test drive and he said it always did that so he just didn't rip on it too hard (had the blower on since new). I had to run it 60 miles each way to work in DC and it was sucking oil so I installed a '68 fairlane windshield washer resevoir on the passenger innder fender and ran the pcv line from the intake to the resevoir and put a PCV in the top of it and it worked great as an oil seperator. Some days I knew it was getting full because oil would start to track out from between the hood and fender at speed... Just poured it back in the valve cover before coming home. Pulled the motor down that christmas and several rings were broken and two pistons were missing ring lands.

Long story short, your motor may need some lov'n.
