Went to replace the PCV (stocker at 65k I know I'm bad), any way damn thing was hollow.
I started up the engine after the swap with the new part to make sure there were no new noises, but nothing other than what I've always thought was noisy ticky heads (both heads do... and I've been told it's just the injectors)...
Any way lets assume the ball and junk fell in the head... I suppose I'm screwed. I don't have a torque wrench so I can't take off and replace the covers to take a peak.
What's the chance the thing was always hollow? It doesn't look like anything popped out, it's scratch up from lightly holding it with my leatherman to wash it off and look. So I'd assume if it was forced out that there would be marks?
The new piece is white, and has a round base as opposed to the black stockers octagonal base. New piece is supposedly a Ford part and fit a lot nicer than the stock one.
