Anyone have a dyno graph or at least peak numbers at what RPM for the Track Heat Trick Flow Top End kit? My mostly stock GT is 217 at wheels at 4500 RPM... What do you have with the kit? OR when is the peak power for that kit??

Thanks
V

Nothing wrong with the TFS kit but I'd consider piecing together your own. Try andersons, they have quite a few options and will Also help you put together a custom one

Peak hp with the stage 1 cam kit will be around 5,400-5,500 rpm. Thats where mine peaked when I had it years ago. Stage 2 cam with a track heat will be around 5,800 and 310hp at most.

Pick better parts. The heads are fine, but there are better manifolds and camshafts. 300hp now-a-days is weak, slow and uncompetitive

only 310rwhp? Id think it'd be way higher, I have systemax kit with Z cam (compared to TF kit-better intake, worse heads, cam IDK) and I have 325rwhp, Id think trickflow set-up would be equal at least.

between 300 - 330 is about all you can get with a 302 NA without going higher CR, solid roller, or carbed.

yeah i have 325 with crappy holley heads, sure I could hit 350 easy with a set of afr's and custom cam

350 is a hell of alot to ask out of a 302 NA it's not just throw in a custom cam and be done you have to have the perfect combo to even sniff 350's door.

hell a trick flow top end kit on a 331 struggles to get 350 to the ground.

you got any track times? what are you revving to? mustang dyno? what is the combo?

No track times yet. I just finished the motor last month and had it dyno tuned. The dyno was a dynojet. Combo is
Fox Lake stg2 ported brodix heads and systemax intake
comp xe276 cam
bbk 1-5/8 lt and h pipe
Electric Fan
accufab (race) 75mm tb w/ 90mm inlet
77 prom
24#injectors
410 gear
Anderson Ford 4 inch power pipe
t-5
UDP
The motor makes peak hp at 5900 rpm and holds to 6100' Peak tq is 4600 rpms.
Still has a/c and ps..

thats a nice setup hows the street manners with that cam? also not trying to put down your combo or say u didn't make the power but i would like to see some track numbers on this car.

I had a similiar combo 5 years ago using tw heads and the same cam in a 89 coupe. The car made 359 also and it ran 7.40's @ 94 in the 1/8. I have no doubts this car a will run low 12's maybe high 11's on drag radials. I do not have a drag suspension just bbk lowering springs. My goal was to make this a fun little street car. As for drivability, it will buck alittle below 1800 rpms. other than that its fine.

with 350 hp with marginal weight (3100 - 3200) u should be running 11.5s 11.6's at 115+ mph thats why i say i don't see a 302 NA doing that.
