with 350 hp with marginal weight (3100 - 3200) u should be running 11.5s 11.6's at 115+ mph thats why i say i don't see a 302 NA doing that.

Notice I said street car meaning no drag suspension. I could take the car to the track right now and it will trap atleast 113-115. But the ET wouldn't be much maybe mid to low 12's.

Just because you have a extremely small cam, tb and heads on your 347 and its performance is lack luster. Dont hate on a combo thats well put together.

My heads have 187 cc intake runner volume. Port matched to a 1262 intake gasket. If you put good parts on a small engine it will perform. If I had a 347 and it made less than 400 on the dyno I would be dissapointed.

But I'm not going to derail this thread any longer if you want to continue to argue just pm me.

for every 1 302 NA making over 330 hp to the wheels i can show u 5 with the EXACT same combo making 300 to 310.

oh i question your inflated dyno numbers and u get mad at me and wanna talk crap about my combo? i wasn't the one in here claiming my car is something it is not. i know my 347 is well below what it could be but i don't try to make up for that with exaggerations. what im saying is take it to the track and stop trying to race dyno numbers.

I use the dyno as a tool basically to see where my a/f is at. I told you what this combo ran on a old full weight coupe I had 6 years ago. 7.40's on hoosier QTP's. Add 20-23 mph to that and that will give you roughly the 1/4 mph.

As stated earlier no drag suspension on this car so I dont expect mid 11's et's. I will bet that I can cut a 1.70 60 foot on a lowered suspension with drag radials and run a mid to low 12 at 113 plus on this full weight gt.

My point is these numbers are not inflated or unbelieveable, people do it all the time with a matched combo. Dont judge my experience by my post count.

As of right now its all bench racing but I will show and prove when the time comes

Dont get me started on my 86 coupe with a 408. I'm not knew to this.

if you woulda said 350 hp at 6700 rpm's with a big set of heads and intake i woulda believed that but 350 + at 5900 rpm's is just a bit much for a 302. anywho whatever it is what it is as long as your happy with it.

My heads are pedestal mount so that limited how big of a cam I could run. Now if I converted to stud mount and put a cam in with 230/238 @ .050 and .580 lift Then the peak would be closer to 6500-6700.

The motor is efficient. I forgot to add I have a electric water pump and race crank. too.

350 HP in a NA 302 isn't all that difficult. I've seen many 302s at around 350. In fact my neighbor has a 89 LX with 362rwhp NA 306. What he has into his engine I do not know. All I know is that it's NA, he has a TKO tranny and much higher than normal compression ratio (~10:1) like mine. I also a guy I work with has a NA 347 pushing over 400RWHP. It's all in tuning and what you have. If you have a AOD or other Auto tranny it would be harder than someone with a Manual Transmission.

between 300 - 330 is about all you can get with a 302 NA without going higher CR, solid roller, or carbed.

So because you make a statement that says "between 300 - 330 is about all you can get with a 302 NA without going higher CR, solid roller, or carbed" you now need something to back it up from someone who disagrees? What do you have to back up your claim? You've been a witness to every 302 N/A non carbed, non solid roller, lower c.r. dyno session? Or you have read all the internet experts comments about what a 302 can generate, because they know.
