Pedal adjustment?

Hey all, just wondering what might be wrong here. I have to push the clutch pedal down to the floor very hard to get the neutral safety switch to let the car turn over. Is there an adjustment to the switch? Thanks.

Yes there is. If you feel the back of the clutch pedal arm, you will feel a plastic threaded rod. You can adjust the switch so it closes soon. I would note that the first time you bury the pedal, it will probably ratchet back down to where it is adjusted now.
