Pedal assembly installation

I'm in the process of doing a 5-speed swap and i have some questions.
I'm removed the 4 bolts and the top bolt holding the stock brake pedal assembly but there's something holding the brake switch to the pedal frame, it looks like a pin, do i just remove that?

Also, how does the clutch cable install to the manual clutch/pedal assembly and fork arm? I've included pics. For ease of reference, i've numbered the pics.

I've taken the time to make giving instructions easier. This is the final steps and then i'll have a manual Detailed help is appreciated

See the hook on the quadrant? Hook that over the end of the cable and run the cable down the channel of the quad and you're good to go.

For the brakelight switch, yes, just pull the pin. Make sure you remember the orientation of the switch so you can put it back together later.

Here's a vital word of advice - buy an aftermarket clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster and install the quad WHILE THE PEDALS ARE OUT OF THE CAR. Anyone who's ever installed a new quad with the pedals in the car can attest to how much of a PITA it is. Trust me, you'll be thankful.

Like he said, pic #1 goes to the hook on the quadrant.

Unfortunately, you've scored yourself what looks to be an adjustable cable. Since you've already got it, use it, but it could stretch, also, they don'twork well with the plastic quadrant.

They all stretch, even the stock ones, but i would agree the stock ones do seem to have a better fit and feel to them.
