pi head porting

just picked up a set of used pi heads, im going to throw some hitech stage 2 cams on them. i know to get better numbers i need the stock heads ported. i dont know anything at all about heads and to save me from getting ripped off what do i need to ask for? what do i need done to get good numbers? how much am i looking on spending here just for porting? thanks in advance!

also the used heads i bout are from a 99 gt, mines a 02 gt, does that metter?

no one has there stock heads ported that can chime in?

Yes it does, 99 heads are windsor heads and have different value covers and the timing cover has a few different bolts. I had ported my stock heads, you should have a pro do a value job on them and also if you are going to run the stock springs with those cams you should have the value stems cut. I would not pay more than $250 for the heads
