I think that I am going to get the PI Heads and intake kit from Parkway Ford...I just wanted to know with the raised compression will I still be able to run safely a 100 shot of N20 through it? I will most likely have my Diablo Delta chip re-tuned on a dyno also...Am I still safe? and no I don't just want to buy a complete PI motor... Thanks! :nice:

how about some helpfull info guys...Long tubes yes bigger gains up top. but I will have to replace or cut on my x-pipe plus the expence of full lenths are out of my budget with everything else. I want that low torque still also...

guys my motor only has 12,000 miles on it...no use to buy one with way over that milage. Just need to here if there will be any compression issues.
If worse comes to worse I will just buy the Livernois kit and a pair of PI cams. screw the few horsepower gain from the heads! This way I will not have the compression issues to deal with If I want to get blown down the line.

in the case of your car , which is unlike 99 percent of the NPI guys with high mileage I would spend the extra money and get the livernois kit that way you dont have to worry about sealing issues arising later or incase you do get a blower later .

You will get the same responses that you have recieved already, here on stangnet. If you check out modulardepot, there is a guy on there with a pi headswap that is running a 125shot with his only problem being traction. I would take a look over there. BTW long tubes make a world of difference compared to shorties, if you can swing it, they are the way to go and with the heads off is probably the best time to do it. Good luck man :nice:

vvzer0incvv, thanks for a sensible answer! thats what I was looking for. I already have a nitrous kit on the car now so thats not an issue but thanks for the input 2002BLGT...
With the long tubes I'm not sure still just because of $$ since I have an auto there are only 3 companies that make a set that will fit that I know of Hooker,Mac,JBA...Mac I just don't want to go there...Hooker are about $600 + and JBA is just plain out of my finacial grasp :)
I'll give you a list of what I have done so fan and maybe someone can tell me a good direction to go:

ZEX 100 dry shot system
Accufab 70mm TB and Upper Plenum
March under drive pullies
taylor 10.5mm pug wires
screamin demon coil packs
BBK CAI
BBK X-pipe off road
Flowmaster American Thunder cat back
Nitto 275/40 DR's
Bear braking system
so what kind of horsepower do I have potential to see with a headswap on top of this? Plus possibly as set of long tubes or BBK Tuned shorties???

I'm not too sure about this but i have seen some headswap guys with longtubes and other bolt-ons in the 250ish rwhp realm. My guess would be about 340-360 rwhp, from what i have seen here and modulardepot. BTW I believe that hookers are the only longtubes that can be used with an auto. For what its worth, hooker has an off brand called flowtech, which are the exact same only not ceramic coated. You can get a set of flowtech longtubes and matching xpipe for under $500 maybe in the $400 price range. There was a post here about them a few months ago.
