I ordered my PI Intake and am waiting on payment instructions for som PI cams with under 10k miles on them. I am also ordering just the adapter plates from Livernoise. My question is will I need a tune after the install or will it still run fine? I know I will better benefit from a tune, but won't be able to get it til sometime in May. I was thinking I should get about 30 HP and roughtly the same TQ after the swap, what can I hope for after a good tune?

Thanks for the input

I've got both in place and don't believe it needs a tune. No problems starting and runs hard. I will be dynoing in the next few weeks to get the Af ratio as it sits, but don't think I will see anything that would be of concern.

How much did that setup run you?
I was thinking of an intake swap and maybe cams as well.

How hard was that intake to get on right?

The intake was 212 shipped, The cams 125-150(he is still deciding on price) and I'm looking at another 300 for the adapter plates (you don't need them but I'll feel better with them) and about another 50 bucks in misc. parts for the swap. I could be off a bit on the misc. parts though.

I have not installed any of this yet. I plan on having the cam swap done, but I'll be installing the intake myself. You can do a search for both the PI Intake and Cam swap that have links to write-ups. Hope this helps.
