what paint combo did you use?

that pic looks pretty damn good. especially the way the sun reflects off the front of it.

It's PPG DBC base in Acapulco Blue, with DBC base black for the stripes. I then put three good coats of clear over it. It's all Urathane.

I got lucky on the pic with the sun doing that.

Oh no...just wait until I get the entire car assembled...the hood will blend.

I've been painting houses for 14+ years, and I have done a few cars.

I don't care for the lack of adjustability in the arm (still have to shim it) and the design itself lacks style to me.

I am sure they work great, but man for the price...phew...a tad expensive for a lot less features.

Hungry, it's not all assembled yet. I was trying to get it done for the April 8th and 9th car show here in town, but first my kid got strep, then that moved onto some sort of chest/nose/throat virus, and when we finally got him all well I came down with the chest/nose/throat thing, and I haven't been able to touch the car in over a week.

ANYWAY, I didn't flare my brake lines very well and they all leaked, so I am having to replace a $100.00 proportioning valve, and re-flare the lines (or rather take the lines to someone to have them done right...I mean you can't be great at everything ) so that has held me back, however here are a few crappy side pics.

Sorry about the quality...and the engine is doen and running...so that engine pic isn't very current.

Our coilover kits utilize the shock tower, so removing them is not an option.
